Final thoughts

The idea of ‘spiritual warfare’ is scary and so unreal to most of us. But God, the creator of all things assures us that it very much is. The first few chapters of the book of Job gives us much insight into the dealings and workings in the ‘Heavenly Realm’.

What Paul has shown us in these last few days is that the spirit world is VERY real, they have the ability to effect us but we have an amazing amount of power through the word of God to not only deflect, but to protect and even defeat them.

But it does take discernment, knowledge and the faith that we are granted if we just take the time to read and learn. We cannot defeat this foe ourselves, but the answers-the protections-the power lies at our fingertips. All we need in order to tap into it is open His word.

Prayer: Father, I thank You so much that You have taken the time to give me Your word. Help me now to use it to advance Your kingdom, to do the work You have outlined for me to do, to protect me from the enemy bent on thwarting Your great plan for me. Grant in me a thirst for You and the understanding that ALL of the answers lie in the book You have given us, the Bible.
